Quality management in project-oriented construction processes

Zlata Dolaček-Alduk, Dunja Mikulić, Mladen Radujković

Abstract

The quality management system in project-oriented construction companies is described. The need to define the construction process and to ensure coordination with other participants in construction is emphasized. The participants are presented in three roles: suppliers, processors and customers. A survey of company quality systems is given, and a project illustrating participation of companies in the construction process is presented. The project quality system is described through quality plan, which is in turn defined as a special procedure forming part of the company quality system.
